Do the ramifications of the 10-year Treasury crossing 3 per cent keep you up at night? Do you complain to your mates at the pub about how a stock’s short interest is a misleading statistic? Are you the proud owner of a rare FRED tee?
Well, we might have just the job for you.
FT Alphaville is hiring. Here’s the job advert on the offish FT site.
It goes without saying that we’re looking for someone who lives, breathes and eats finance and economics. You could be a M&A lawyer looking to escape the cage of their 18 hour work day; a journalist at a niche trade publication hoping to bring their expert knowledge to a wider audience; or simply an amateur markets geek looking to go professional. In short, background isn’t particularly relevant. But, we should stress, you must be able to write.
We’re primarily looking for people in London or New York, but have some flexibility. Deadline for applications is April 3. To apply, please submit a CV, cover letter and a short unpublished post that might work for Alphaville via the link above.
Do get in touch with the team if you have any questions if you have them. We’re all ears.
